A couple of months ago, I started this piece always with thee intention of quilling it but other pieces happened and I set it aside to work on later.
After sitting with it for several weeks, I started to wonder if maybe I wanted to quill it at all since the painting was really bright and vibrant all on it’s own. However, when I finally got back to this piece I decided that it needed the quills after all…
I’m using some of the same quilling styles that I used on The Elephant in the Room which should compliment the painting nicely.
